The will of the people, on war and human rights, placed in conflict.

War is, perhaps, the most vile and horrific of all the elements that encompass the human condition. The state of being "at war", by most any current definition, violates the natural rights on one, both or all of the peoples that are the citizens of each of the "sides". If war were fought only by voluntary combatants there would be only the violation of the expenditure of resources against those that would not want war. War fought by the existing rules of engagement is a war crime or crimes against humanity. Draft, conscription and compulsory service are crimes. Requiring the people that would deny war to pay for war is a crime. Bombing that results in "collateral damage" is a crime. The use of the national resources are crimes against pacifist that work to enable the war effort even if only thru taxation. Bombing the infrastructure of the "enemy's country" is a crime against the population. War is a crime against humanity when unexploded ordinance kills a noncombatant, sometimes a child. War is the use of toxic compounds, nuclear weaponry and biological warfare, each in itself a crime against ALL humanity. Economic sanctions kill the people that make up the most marginalized of that countries citizens. Can you, in good faith, condone war when these are the reality's of war? I can't and will not allow war to become the normal state of affairs. Will you?

We, the people of the United States of America, are NOT the enemy.

My Daddy use to say,"If you are treated a certain way long enough, you will become that which is projected upon you" took me a very long time to truly understand the full meaning and implication of this statement. If a person is accused of being a thief long enough they will most likely start stealing. probably from you. If your significant other accuses you of cheating and you're not then you just might start. I mean if it's assumed all the time why not? And you know what else is a good possibility? They are doing just what it is that they are accusing you of doing for some reason, guilt, to keep you off balance or maybe they want to get caught. Maybe they're just plain nuts!
The American government is treating the world, it's own citizens included, like the enemy. Am I the enemy? Are a vast majority of muslims the enemy? Are communists the enemy? Are socialists the enemy? Are you the enemy? I didn't think so. So why are we being treated like the enemy? Why would the government then treat so many people like the enemy? Well like my Daddy used to say "most people that are accusing you of something you are not doing are doing it themselves, unless their just plain nuts." So i suggest that since "WE" are not the enemy then, by by corollary, "THEY" must be the enemy. We just haven't figured it out as a whole, sure some of us have been thing this for a while but not as a whole. So there it is, the real reason that the government of Amerika is treating the World like the enemy. Are you mad yet?    READ - THINK - ACT

Time is, or rather has, become a scares commodity.

It is 2012 and the elections are looming up ahead. Faster and faster they approach us, pondering massively towards they final day when we the people will chose who will be our next President. Or will we? Will we get the choices we desire? Will the candidate of our choice even make it to the ballot? Will you even vote I wonder. Do you feel that there has been in some way a fraud perpetrated upon the American citizen? What do you think should be done to correct this, if indeed it has occurred? What are you willing to do, risk or not to make your voice heard? Will you speak out against these wanton acts of treason? will you protest in a demonstration or march? Will you risk your job and financial security to make yourself heard? How many people do you know that will risk as much as you will, or more? Just how much are you willing to endure in losses of freedom to guaranty your security? Will you rat out good honest people to a fascist regime to keep your security? Will you bear false witness against your fellow man to retain some of that security and privilege? Will you kill an innocent person to stay safe if even for a moment? How low will you go to protect yourself, family and friends when the situation becomes so horribly distorted? What will it take for you to stand up and rise against tyranny in it's inglorious, twisted rise to total domination? Will the legacy that you leave for your children be a totalitarian regime that enslaves the minds and souls. Will you stand up this in July for a 1 week shutdown of this country, starting the 4th to express your dissatisfaction with the system? I will and most of my friends will? Stand beside us in solidarity, for a free United States of America.

"When in the life of men it become necessary to stand up and be noticed and make an accounting for the grievous deeds of their governments, I ask, will you stand?"

At what point does it become necessary, no required, to stand up and demand that the Government be held accountable for their actions which have become treasonous? We have reached a point of great concern, contention and possibly conflict. The government has empowered itself in a manner that was not only forewarned by our founding fathers but designed against, in their construction of the core legislation that this great country was built upon. When in the fullness of time it becomes possible to see for yourself the staggering implications that the NDAA represent will you stand up and denounce it? Demand that it be struck down for the very evilness that it is? Of rather will you let it stand, an instrument of repression, out of fear or weakness on the basis that, "well, it doesn't affect me I am doing nothing wrong", or some other rationalized, gutless or traitorous and twisted "logic". Will thy have to come in the night and take your loved ones away as part of some plot to force some distant relative who spoke out against their tyranny? Where will you draw the line? Will the abuses have to escalate for you to stand up and if so then how high? How about the death of the people of another country? The non-combatants deaths are of no consequence to you? If you said that is where you would draw the line, well you're too late as this is already happening in the wars that the media tells us and other "black wars". Will you finally stand up when your parents are taken or haw about your children? Will you stand up and take control of the situation or will you allow yourself to be herded into a shower, one with no water?

The Culture of Consumption in Amerika

What is advertising really? Is it enterprise informing the consumer on the inherent value of their products and/or services? Is it a truthful endeavor? Is it fundamentally flawed or evil? Perhaps it's "advertisings function is to convince you to obtain credit to purchase things you don't need or want and can't afford that are poorly made by workers that are mistreated, exploited or are functionally slaves"(1), what a mouthful.
Consumption is not, of and by itself, bad or undesirable. In moderation almost anything can be a neutral or ever a good thing. Overconsumption, however, has a host of issues. At the extreme end of the scale, overconsumption can kill. You might ask, how is that possible? Energy will serve as an example in this case. If a country uses energy in a fashion that causes the cost of energy rise then the people at the bottom of the economic pyramid will be displaced as there are inadequate funds available to allow them to continue to consume at the rate they were. So in order to cover the rise in energy costs the amount of energy consumed must be reduced or expenses must be reduced somewhere else. If they are already marginalized then this translates to one thing, the sacrifice of some other essential item. Energy or food, energy or medicine, energy or transportation and so on.
When a pattern of use includes trips in the Hummer of 2 blocks to purchase beer, moving further from work, heating the house to 75 in the winter of just leaving lights on unnecessarily keeps or increases the demand and therefor price. Since energy is a global resource this use takes directly from the marginalized peoples from everywhere in the world, possibly resulting in death. This applies to food, manufactured goods, fuel, electricity, plastics, pharmaceuticals and other items to a greater or lesser degree. So being fat and lazy will affect other people. You might ask how let's take a look. You're 300 lbs and you drive to BigBox Superstore, a half a mile in your '66 Big block truck that gets 12 miles to the gallon, to purchases beer, junk food, disposable dish ware and utensils and other disposable items for a barbecue. At your weight you must consume more calories to maintain weight, more food. You drive when you could've walked or rode a bike, that 2 issues, no exercise that increases potential health issues and energy use. Your food choices perpetuate you health risks. the disposable require Oil and Energy. So total up the damage to marginalized people if you lifestyle is consistent will lead to an increase in misery and death. Not factoring in the pollution, carbon footprint and I wonder if you have trouble sleeping? You should, because you can change your lifestyle to be more aware of the consequences of your actions. Not making change would be at best insensitive and at worst you contribute to the suffering of other human beings. There are over 7 billion of us on the planet and there is no room for gluttony, greed or ignorance.
